Wondrous items
for enchantment
Morven McGillivray is the secret identity of Kevin McGillivray, an artist who works from an undisclosed workshop on the edge of a shady ravine in Wisconsin.
Through drawing and painting, they study the life found in overlooked margins and seek materials, stories, and fantastic places that expand our perception. Morven's creative studio, Enchantment Supply, makes wondrous items to help fellow magic practitioners equip themselves for practicing the art of enchantment. ❦
Inside the cave
they found a song
Singsong is a collection of figure drawings on marble, slate, and engineered stone foraged from the ruins of extinct mass retail empires.
The series indulges the ancient human desire to make marks on stone and to share our dreams, memories, joy, and grief through the human form. Morven applies an open-hearted, animistic view to both figure and stone to make objects that carry enchantment, life, and conviviality.
